WISDOM. (IF)

She has wisdom enough to let go the bird without telling a word.

Not only wisdom, but courage... To surpress the:"Stay!", "Don't go!", "I miss you!"... I like the magic carpet of the sky, the hand that speaks instead of the mouth, the long road to and from home... The colours emphasize the sadness, but the hint of the circle promises the return of the bird...
A wonderful illustration, Roberto!x

This is a very strong image. I like Rosschika's interpretation, she says it better than I could.

Hi dear Roberto! My mom died and perhaps that is the reason why I see the bird as the life or the soul leaving the body on the last breath, making that body silent and white. The flying papers are photographs or memories blown in disorder by the wind, some sinking in the sea of oblivity. But the ribbon circles together with the waves and that symbolizes how life is going on, like a train, on and on, like boats steaming round the world. The moon belongs to the night and maybe can be the connection between the dead and the living, sleeping and cold, but rising and shining to make the darkness less scary. And I see the bird flies with the stars...
This is a beautiful painting, Roberto. Magical.
WWXX!!
