EYE CONTACT (Drawing Challenge)

 NO EYE CONTACT

I had a dream,
I was a howling wind... and I had eyes,
I was a smell mushrooms in the forest ... and I had eyes,
I was the ray's light ... and I had eyes,
I was a pouring rain... and I had eyes,
and one night, I found a small window to pass through, and see what was on the other side ...
but it was covered with something that did not allow me to enter,
and turning around, i began to dissolve in the dark atmosphere,
as a simple breeze, musty smell, moonlight, or drizzle.

Esta semana el anfitrión es nuestra amiga Renilde, excelente creadora de cuadros que yo diría, son "Realismo mágico". El tema es Contacto Visual, y si quieren ver a los otros participantes vayan aquí, por favor.

This week the host is our friend Renilde, excellent creator of pictures I would say, are "Magic Realism"
The issue is Eye Contact, and if you want to see the other participants go here, please.

such a wonderful dream
and lovely interpretation of art from it

Not that I understood most of it (my head's much to practical for poetry!) ... but it felt beautiful and sad. Although the sad part changes ever time I read it, so I'm not sure about that. I really does feel like a dream, like something you're certain you can touch, but when you do, it turns into nothing. Thank you for offering this little moment of musty smell, moonlight or drizzle, on a tired evening such as this :)

Roberto, the description of your dream is very poetic. i love how the writing flows. And your art is always awesome. (i loved the twisted bra strap illustration too. Thank you for sharing your art with the world. Happy Sunday! xox

Your work is 'magic' too, both the poem and the illustration. So strange and a little bit sad. This is Art!

Your lovely collage made me think... This window was like a barrier - to a forbidden world. You shouldn't have tried to look through it. Maybe you lost your "eyes" for your world, because you used them to imagine the unknown one... I love it!! The words and the image! The new heather as well.
Have a wonderful week, Roberto!x

To be like the wind or a ray of moonlight, to drift like a smell... that sounds as a perfect dream. Floating without body but as an element of nature. But we humans made barriers to keep nature out. Beng! End of dream.
Words and image are wonderful! But... I have a question: the background is it real ground? Something stony with a bit of crayon drawing?
XXWW!!

This is wonderful Roberto- drawing from your dreams- I imagine this is so fitting for you and your style- and the poetry too such a great combination! You should do more :)

My eyes were caught by your header at once! That layering effect attrects me and makes me smile.
Your poem did something else...took me into a dream, where you feel comfort and discomfort both in one...where you long for something that you can't achieve...I scrolled down and your artwork fits perfectly the picture I had in mind...
