Always turns in my head the phrase "Like a lizard on a window pane", from the song Happiness is a warm gun, I know that has nothing to do with "Secret" but thinking about that word I did this sketch in my notebook, I like it, I think that from this idea I'll do something better (I mean, more elaborate).

A mí me gustan mucho, mucho tus bocetos... Mucho :)
So there's a man inside your lizards! That's a secret revealed! Don't know the song, but like the title about the gun in happiness. I think your sketch is great! Quickly done with all the right strokes and lines. I guess with all your experience you can draw anything without hesitation. I find it difficult to change a good lively into the 'real' thing, I like sketches very much and wonder why they can not be the real thing. XXWW!!
I ment: to change a good vivid sketch into something like the real artwork.
That's difficult, to keep the loose, easy, direct atmosphere. It's also difficult to read back what you have written and not push the Publicar button too soon! :)))
I don't know that song, but will send you a photo I took in Kenya - a baby lizard on my window!:DDD
But there ARE secrets in your sketch: in that strange man, in the written words... Even in the painting/s that will follow... xox
¿?
Roberto....mi querido amigo....te contaré un secreto...me acuerdo mas de ti que demuestro.
Un gran, gran abrazo.
i love where your imagination goes with the suggestion of a few words from a song. (is this the John Lennon song?) i love the illustration - even if you choose never to elaborate. xox
And what is the meaning of the words you' ve written? Is it: I can not keep a secret?
wow, creepy cool Roberto :)
I feel a bit stupid for not knowing the song. I DID know the Beatles but I was living in my own world and not listening to lyrics or misunderstanding them and making my own abracadabra versions. What counts are your persdonal thoughts and associations with the words and the music.
In sketching lines have more freedom, that goes for all artists, academics and self-educated. Your lines are determined, sharp, strong, flowing. Just great. I do like your aquarels very much. I just wait and see what happens next.
Buen trabajo amigo!
"No sabia guardar un secreto"? And this is his punishment? What kind of secret did she have anywhay?? lol, the man in the lizard constume is funny and sad, and kind of creepy too ... I absolutely love the sketchiness of your your drawing - it's like watching the artist is action!
So generous of you to reveal us your notebook sketches, Roberto: I love it! It is also very elaborate, my rough sketches are much much rougher. It is like a ready work, it just has different quality that your 'painted' work.
