Lots to think about here. A levitating lizard. . .the silhouettes of people in the background. Are those fish on the floor? What a temptress face that woman has. My head is swimming with the imagery!
Some poisons are beneficial in small doses. . . but a little too much and you are hooked. Just like Roberto's paintings!
Venom in English, and in Dutch 'venijn'. I'm so excited when I can understand that beautiful language of you. I'll stay with the Dutch word. It can mean poison, but also mean, nasty behaviour or bitchy, snappy speech. The lady and the lizard are battling with bad vibes. When she was traveling she held him on a rope, but he broke free. I understood that Rod wants her naked, but I like the green against the red very much.
A disturbing atmosphere (for me!) The red and green colours are too strong and maintain the tension. I can't imagine what's in your head, but it must have been a strong feeling that went out of you quickly (I like this way of water colouring!)
maybe they are symbiotic and a poison is a defense plants and animals use- perhaps they are working together in some way...I am always intrigued by your thoughts :)
Good day Roberto. Thanks for visiting my blog to say hello again - it is always lovely to hear from you! I love how prolific you are and always experimenting with colour and medium and subject matter. I love the texture of this watercolour. And guess what - it's not raining in Auckland! What a surprise. All the best, Carla.

Oh yes, I like her dress. She and the lizard as twins with their green stripey look.

loving the similar colors between the lizard and the dress of the woman
Hola Roberto, me pregunto que significado tiene esta pintura... Me ha gustado mucho la mezcla entre maldad y belleza en el rostro de la mujer!
Good fight! Awesome use of color!!
Alguien preguntó ropa?
La veo desnuda. Tiene piel de lagarto.
