Oh I love this one Roberto! When it hit me: the sense of your story...that botrh think that the other one lives in absolutely freedom, but we're all in box, in some way. really: very touching and beautiful!

... and if we leave our box we are together in a big box? would there be a hole? and is this box again in a box?!...
I love that drawing, it´s great, Roberto really, fantastic work, poem, too, you tell a lot!

I love the irony of this poem and drawing, Roberto. Here is the thing: my life on this island does indeed seem like living in a box while my love roves over the seas in freedom, but he is on a ship and must feel himself is in the box... so you have really got to the truth here!

Wow, everyone fits in their own little box. ;)
How are you Roberto? Well, I hope. I'm really just stopping by to say "Hello" :D

Difficult drawing with the perspective and all! The black and white makes it very strong, like a chessboard. The thought of us living in boxes... that's true, I think. It's a bit sad, but on the other hand what is freedom??? Is there something with no limits? Like the universe? I can not imagine such things. XXWW

Dear Roberto,
I really love your poem and your drawing is absolutely stunning! Really well done and it reminds me, that I once sat in an office thinking of me and all the other people in the building sitting over-under and side by side in boxes.

Wow! A very great drawing, a bit depressing thought to be in a alone in a box without a key to get out but maybe thats it?! Everybody has to live his or her own life.

But maybe it a demand from you and the doors are all open. We should have more time/courage/will or whatever to meet each other in real life and start talking and discussing.

Who knows, However, I like it :-)

your drawing is grandiose. wowser!

i believe, who 'lives' in the box sleeps in reality, without noticing it, but thinks, this is live. but we are all in freedom. and the key? love yourself first and you're free ....

thank you so much for your words @ my blog :o)

beautiful words and stunning artwork! At first it made me sad (and feeling a little trapped;) and, well, it still makes me sad, but in more of a melancholic way, positive even. Like when you figure soemthing out and that in itself makes the problem easier to handle. Super clever illustration and very very beautiful. (btw, yes, I do know about how Boca got its club colours: they couldn't agree on what to wear on their shirts so they said "we'll use the colours of the flag of the next ship to enter the harbour!" And of course it was a Swedish ship, with its blue and yellow flag! :D

Hermoso y triste. Podría decir una frase cursi que salve todo, como "el amor los hará libres", pero son patrañas. Haber vislumbrado el amor y no poder tenerlo hace que esa caja parezca aún más chica, no?

Sigo pasando porque yo también te extraño!!

maravilloso poema, me estremeció, me quedo pensando, reflexiva... y estoy segura regresaré de nuevo a contemplar tu obra a releer tu poema, gracias roberto

You know, it is amazing how a line on a page can say so much. And then when you add the words written by a sensitive, romantic, poet, the whole thing gets elevated to the stratosphere. Your work is totally out of this world. I feel like I've taken drugs but haven't taken a thing except a breath after I've held it while taking in your visual boxes. This is GRAND! N, x
p.s. that header with the birds and arrows and bits of red blobs, and oncoming vehicle is a story and a half right there!!!!

Roberto, this is awesome!! One of my favourites of yours so far! It's so deep and touching and controversial. At first I didn't like it, it felt so lonely and isolated, and so definite without a key to get out of the box. But then...well...the other dimension took me to a more propriate emotion. I felt thankful for being allowed to look through other people's keyholes. Getting the chance to catch a glimpse inside their boxes...that's wonderful!
And apart from all this I fell in love with that drawing at once! Somehow reminded me of M.C. Escher, but more lively with all those human beings inside the boxes...I really really love that one!
