HOMBRE CON.../MAN WITH...

Now is Sunday night, 9.45 pm. I spent all day Saturday and all day Sunday working.
Wanting to draw something for me, to put color, do something, I dunno. and just as I was about to turn off the light of my drawing board, I find a piece of canvas ready to paint, she was lying on the floor, looking at me, saying:  "Paint me please"... and I could not resist.
I drew a quicky drawing, and I painted it with watercolor. I think it may be called, "Man with rain hat"

Friends, I leave you, it's dinner time.
Until tomorrow.

Your man with a rain hat has a bit of the look of a mime about him. But could a gentleman with such an interesting hat really be the strong, silent type??! Such an intriguing painting. . .

This time I will not analyse the drawing. I don't want to kill my perception, the way I feel for it. It is amazing, peculiar and beautiful! In the list of my top 5!:DD
You've had a guest that night, Roberto - the Inspiration (is it Him or Her?)!xxx

So poetic, translucent and 'watery'! I like the rough edges and the way fabric shows through.
Have a great week Roberto!

I like to read about youw way of painting, I imagine you in your studio. and I love your man with that hat! It reminds of Venice...or Italy/France. Maybe it's because of the stripes on his shirt..and the fish. I think the woman is funny, I don't know for sure if she wants to be on his hat, haha! I guess not, otherwise the sun would be shining;-)

Amicalement.

Yes, he looks like a Venetian gondolier. I love him. He's so young! I'm glad that you found that canvas smiling at you. A beautiful end of the working day. It's amazing what we do when we just do, not think. And I like the rough edges of the canvas. It's a piece of luck. XXWW

Roberto, i always like how you translate situations and events into your typical poetic-witty drawings and paintings,
maybe there's also 'man with a sun hat' out there somewhere ;) x

Ooooo Roberto... I love the Man with the Rain Hat! It reminds me a little of Rene Magritte. You tell so much story in your paintings. This is going to be one of my facourites that I will think about for a long time.
