When it ceases to be heard the Gamelan,
she sits by the river
and her hair is immersed in the water becoming fish,
and on the dark universe, becomes stars.

Gorgeous, Roberto...I really love the way the hair turns into a fish!

Wow! I love the intricate pattern in back, and what a great fish! So cool and interesting as always!
This is one of my favorites. Beautiful.
How come your cartoon blog is not listed on your blogger profile page? I can't find it now.
nice idea, Roberto: hair turning into fish. Have a nice week!!
Very nice, I just love the fish! And a great new header, very dreamy, like it! I wish you a good week!
Very decorative and beautiful and funny details. I like the prissy look on her face!

Prometo no volver a perderme ;)
Un beso!
there's that fish again, so beautiful, love that touch of exotism, great details, x
.... so amazing... it'd be interesting to read about how you think when you come up with your creations!

Hi Roberto,
I was glad to find your blog at Mano's drawing challenge.
Your illustrations are wonderful, here I specially like the blue fish and the fresh colour.
May I invite you to this week's drawing challenge with the the "leaves"? I am the host: http://www.herzfrisch.com/blog/invitation/ and it wood be a pleasure for me.

Lovely lovely! Intriguing image and beautifully executed!
You are too productive, I can't keep up with you...
Love your Balinese dancer. When I was in Bali I bought several of those beautiful prints picturing dancers, especially the ones with couples, a man and a woman, I had one beside my bed for years.
I like the way you have made that image your own! You always give me ideas what to try myself too...
BTW, thanks for reminding me about that following/subscription feature in Blogger. It took me forever to find it, I'm still a beginner... Is the one I am using the one you meant?
So beautiful Roberto! She is mysterious and magical!!
I am waiting patiently for my package but it hasn't come yet. Please do not worry though, the post is very very slow coming out here into the middle of the desert.
Carlos.
Thanks Roberto for your great instructions on following!!! I can't believe that I haven't spotted that gadget before... I think I have an attention span of a squirrel, no patience at all to look... :-P
And yes, I saw those dancers in Ubud, I have been there twice, love the place! I want to go to Bali again!!
Have a lovely weekend!
(Looking froward to see your 'sky', you always make them so interesting :-))
Beautiful - and I love the Balinese theme!! I'm also going to mention the lovely header you've painted. I love that at first glance she is very soft and pleasing; but on further inspection you see that she is masked, and two-faced (with the eyes of two different people). What a great way to show how complexity can lie hidden beneath the surface!
wowwwwwwwwwwwwww, me copo mal!! xx
Felicitaciones a mi amigo!
Abrazos!
Bali is always enlightened by the gamelan and dances!!!
They are not only a tradition of the Balinese culture but they are an integral part of their ancestral gods, your excotic Balinese dancer just charms me in every way :))))
This so is pretty (and i'm a bit jealous of her beautiful long black hair...)
Thanks very much for letting me know about this post ♥
