CARGAR/CARRY (IF)

Si tu corazón carga con una muerte,
vas a pedir por agua al costado del camino cuando sientas sed,
pero tus ojos no veran al sol brillando nuevamente.

If your heart carries a death,
you will ask for water at the roadside when you feel thirsty,
but your eyes will not see the sun shining again.

Hola, Roberto! It's been ages since I was here, and things have changed quite a bit! However, your paintings are just as gorgeous (and your poetry as heartfelt) as ever. I really love these latest two paintings with the contrast between realistic faces and a more graphic rest of the painting. So nice to hear from your on my own blog too. Sending a big hug, and hope you are well.

Your art is much too profound for my simple soul ... but how I love to have it teased like this! Sooo good. :)

it's so bittersweet.
and this painting makes me miss my old red hair!

yes i heard same thing about the crabs, but i've never seen live crabs (a walking crab), i once found one by the beach and it's dead.
The only crab i know is Mr. Krabs (SpongeBob's boss). That's all.

Sometimes I stop by, and I'm confused by the message and symbolism here, but I keep stopping by anyway, because I like the story.

hi, haven’t been here for a while, i was away... i am really liking this series of couches... the small details give away a bit of a dark and nostalgic story . i love that.

Intriguing image, I keep looking to that sofa, such a nice warm colors with the background. But the message sounds so sad...

So desperate!! The Brokenhearted Woman... The dead bird is not a good sign! But... if someone makes a small window, at least a hole in the wall... Then everything could change!
Hmm, obviously I'm an optimist. And I don't share the superstition about number 13...
I like this new painting of the "SAD series", Roberto! I like the expession of the face. As well as the new header!:)))

What a spooky image, that red-headed lady haunts me, where is her body... Excellent work, great symbolism again! :-)
