CAPAZ/CAPABLE (IF)

No me hacés falta,
Si tu nombre fuese Aire, o Agua, o Sol, o Viento, o Frio, o Calor, o Atardecer, o Caricia,
o Beso, o Sonrisa, o Te quiero, o Te extraño,

This morning I woke up thinking, I do not need you,
as I do not need a ton of lead,
or a radio telescope,
or a gallon of putrid water...
...a tank.
I do not need you,
If your name was Air, or Water, or Sun, or Wind, or Cold, or Heat, or Sunset, or Caress, or Kiss, or Smile, or I love you, or I miss you,
or Eyes looking at me,
would be different.

But today I woke up thinking I do not need you,
as I do not need
live on a ninth floor,
or to know what time it is,
eat sushi with champagne,
walk down the ledge.

If you will be called Last night I dreamed of you, or I cut this flower for you, or I have your smell on my mind, or Want to die with you,
or at least I will never lie to you,
or I saw a cloud that looked like your name ...
tonight I would be capable of not writing these words
and maybe wake up tomorrow.

Great airy cool illustration! It goes very well with the poem, I think I am going to come back every time this week to read it again.

Anyway, the thought about that huge striped cat sleeping on the roof makes me smile...
Have a great week!

Varias cosas:
1- ¡¡Lápices de colores!! ¡Bien! Usted entiende ;)

And then she said: "I'll try to be your Sun, your Flower, your Caress, your Heart, your "I love you" and "I won't hurt you", your Moon, your Stars... and all the things you want me to be! Oh, no, not all - at least one, you will see! But, please, don't leave me...:(

or

He stood up and walked slowly, so lonely and desperate in the crowd of women's faces and then..., when he didn't expect anything, one mask fell down and... that was SHE!

Roberto, excuse me for adding this to your words, but I just wanted you to know how I'm feeling, when I read them and look at your illustration... You made my evening!:)

That's me! You know I recently looked at an old image of the worlds talest buildings, in the days that the washington monument was the world tallest building (then the Tour Eiffel came along0 and they had the buidlings arranged in a simialr way, and so when I saw your image I thought ah 'Washington Monument".

But in all seriousness, coloured pencils you have handled so well and used them in this to the advantage of the image... light and air filled (like my brain :) )

seee you
