ADVERTENCIA/WARNING

I would have needed a warning.
Nobody ever told me I would not feel the cold of winter.
Nobody told me I could sit without saying a word, staring with my goose bumps, how the red edge of the sun evaporates the sky over the sea

Why nobody told me that I could mourn and be happy at the same time?
I would have needed someone to tell me that a simple look could get my sweaty hands ...
... that the universe fits in my hand. That the night can be day. That the depth of the ocean does not scare me. That I fervently wanted to fly to the sun, and the fire melt my wings…

Why nobody warned me that your breath would be my air?

In order to feel, to dream of, to long for, to exclaim, to cry, to make your own discoveries; to spend your life step by step, mistake by mistake, joy by joy; to understand what happiness and unhappiness are, to know pain and pleasure, to love and hate, to be alive!!
I hope your wings will never be burnt or broken, Roberto!
P.S. The images of your eventual other experiences are like in snow - galss balls...:)

Qué importa, no? Que cada uno imagine su propio sueño!!!
Besos.

Mr. Roberto, yesterday I posted extended comment on your post. Today I see, however, there is no post from me at all! The possible explanation is you remove it or the Blogger has some serious technical problems. I noticed last time that sometimes my comments could not be posted - they just disappeared when I push the button "send "….

But I give it a try again today.

Well, it is working now!
You asked why nobody warned you. Well, it is very simple to answer. Because you would not listen to anybody! It is always going this way in our world. Did Icarus listen to his father not to fly too high to the sun? No. Did Icarus listen to Daedalus warnings not to fly too low above the seawater ? No.
And you know what happened to Icarus, don't you?
We do not listen to the warnings of the wise people. We have to find it out by ourselfs.

i see, you used different technique than usual. More intense colors.....
enjoy your day

Beso enorme!

Pd: A mí tampoco me advirtieron... Dónde está la hoja de reclamaciones?

Pato dijo...

Ahya Dr Roberto. So you are the last :) I see here well the sun is so dramatic, the way it seizes and fizes our protagonist with it's eyes. The way you have mirrored the contrast of your poem with contrast in your image. It's great the beauty of juxtaposition and how you carry your personal iconography from work to work. I visual iconography is so importnat, icons to meaningful paintings are like letters are to meaningful words. Arranged 'just so' they carry the thoughts and emotions wonderfully.

I see you have spread your wings. I always wanted to fly but my toes are nailed to the ground (I am a bad carpenter)

see you last night I had a wonderful cab sav, but today I have a wonderful disfunction of the liver (There is a moral - always use someone elses's liver when you drink)

You are sometimes walking on 4 legs as a dog, this is indeed very important, because you can see the things in different perspective . Clever.
Other perspective is, however , to observe things from above. I guess you have all prerequisites to take off and fly: probably you inherited it from your ancestors : the power and desire....(that's what I conclude from your drawing)

Thanks for your wise words. And that you are sharing your thoughts

"Nobody ever told me I would not feel the cold of winter."
...perhaps because you did the snow scene really well and so captivating. Beautifully done.

It is like when you wont feel hurt when a needle accidentally penetrates your finger because of its sharpness.

and this is my warning to you, a funny little picture that i meant to show you and Madame yesterday:

Well, I was running down my blog list and this stopped me from scrolling. I love the sun's face, I love the flying man. I used to dream of flying when I was very young. Not in a plane but with feathered wings. ;) I had not thought of it in years until I saw this.

Malena dijo...

Si alguien te hubiera advertido, podrías haber especulado, temido, huído.
Y, a veces, es mejor no pensar.
Solo sentir.
