IF SWEATER

Aquel sweater sonaba a Beethoven…
otras veces a Debusy, cuando llovía...
...Gal Costa...Piazzolla…
por las noches, Pescado Rabioso. Recordarlo me hace sonreir.

sonaba a Beethoven...

That sweater sounded like Beethoven...
Debusy, sometimes… when it rained ...
...Gal Costa ... Piazzolla…
at night, Pescado Rabioso. Remember it makes me smile.

Did you ask me what color was it?
white, in Bariloche, when it snowed and we went to buy chocolate.
Obviously, green, in Iguazú, when the water wet your face, and tears were falling on your cheeks. For joy.
But at night, on your skin, it was always red, always red.
When we chanted Om Namah Shivaya was orange. I remember it well.
Did you ask me for the taste?
flavored red wine, malbec, flavored spring green grass. Have you ever bitten a blade of grass in spring?...
But it sounded like Beethoven, I'm sure.
Smelled the musk of your perfume.

We were fighting to use it, do you remember?...
sounded like Beethoven ...
Pescado Rabioso at night.

Disappeared one summer, the sand covered him in a dune ...
but Beethoven, still playing, while we look through the glass as autumn approaches...
and at night the Pescado Rabioso’s red reflex, let us no sleep.
(do you remember, Artaud?)

My Compliments to you. Your text sounds as poetry in my ears. I hear music, not really Bethoven, but more likely Piazzola....

Saludos

Nothing that is can pause or stay;
The moon will wax, the moon will wane,
The mist and cloud will turn to rain,
The rain to mist and cloud again,
Tomorrow be today.

do you know it?

Oh...oh...oh... Collage. Sublime. Me encantó.

wellllllllllll Roberto your words are becoming very poignant, you know they draw more pictures every day. They are like Eliot..... but good. And your sweater, it is like a m agic carpet, and the header is Varoom. Like Callentynes, but gooder er I mean Ballentynes.

I am looking for a ball of red wool. I have lost it but I am getting GPS this afternoon and should find it again.... alas :)

i do.
i do remember all.

your words are killing me.
this picture doesn't need frame.
your poems don't need to rhyme.
sometimes it's better to walk.
we always preferred the night.
remembering when we used to fight over whose music we’d listen to.
i was too this and you were too that.
and so we compromised and sat in the silence.
in white.
in orange.
in red.

This time I won't analyse. I do not want to. I do not need to. I just read, read, and read... And, quite astonished, I let a host of different feelings flow around, fill me up, whirl in a beautiful and poetic dance! This time the painting illustrates your words, not like habitually... Thank you, Roberto!!!x
