POLLO/CHICKEN

Ella no tuvo oportunidad,

In the big city she felt hunted.
She had no chance,
was chicken in the pot,
was boiling oil.
She was a trophy, she was thing.
It was a place where there was door to enter,
but there was no door to exit.

This is a drawing I did in 1987. And that seemed perfect for this week's IF.

Great illustration, love the contrast of coloured foreground against the black and white background.

The poor chicken, she needs to get out of the city and breathe some "free range" country air! Beautifully done, with style!

Hya Roberto, well this is very poignant, especially with the words so true. We have lots of surprises in this - pleasant for the eye - not such much for the mind eh?
