This reminds me of the way you can bend a strip of paper to make the infinity shape, and if you twist it the right way the outside plane becomes the inside plane becomes the outside plane.

Decía algo así como que pienso lo mismo que vos... y a veces, en la indecisión del estar dentro -o fuera- uno termina anudado... en cuerpo y mente. :)
There is a saying "The threshold between right and wrong is pain".. and your illustration gives the perspective that the only threshold of inside and outside if your physical eye observation.
I love how you can put it into illustration like this !
